Dr. Pakorn Ubolkosold (ปกรณ์ ยุบลโกศล) received a B.Eng. degree in Electrical Engineering from Sirindhorn International Institute of Technology (SIIT), Thailand, in 2000. He earned an M.Sc. in Communications Technology from Ulm University, Germany, in 2003, and a Dr.-Ing. degree in Electrical Engineering from Siegen University, Germany, in 2009. During his doctoral studies, he was the principal investigator of a project funded by the German Research Foundation, focusing on data fusion techniques using Kalman filters for integrated navigation systems.
From 2008 to 2011, he was part of the technical staff at ST-Ericsson in Germany, where he developed algorithms and functional designs for the 4G LTE physical layer. In 2011, he joined the School of Engineering at Bangkok University, Thailand. Currently, his research interests include communications, navigation, applied machine learning, and estimation theory.
